Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you book an appliance repair with FIXSAVE.
Last updated: November 2026
These terms apply to appliance repair services provided by FIXSAVE Appliance Repair (“FIXSAVE”) in Winnipeg and surrounding Manitoba communities. By booking a service you agree to them.
Bookings and appointments
Appointments are confirmed by phone with a time window. Please make sure an adult (18+) is present and the appliance is accessible. If you need to reschedule, let us know as early as possible.
Diagnosis and quotes
The technician diagnoses the appliance and gives you a quote before any repair work begins. Work proceeds only with your approval. The service call is free when you proceed with the recommended repair; any diagnostic charge if you decline the repair will be explained when you book.
Parts
We use genuine OEM parts or high-quality equivalents. If a part must be ordered, we will schedule a return visit once it arrives. Replaced parts may be disposed of by us unless you ask to keep them.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed. We accept major credit and debit cards, e-Transfer and cash.
Warranty
Our labour is covered by a FIXSAVE warranty. Parts we install are covered by a parts warranty, which in most cases follows the warranty provided by the part’s manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, unrelated faults, or repairs by others after our visit. Your invoice describes the coverage for your specific repair.
Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care when working in your home. FIXSAVE is not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects or consequential losses such as spoiled food, except where required by law.
